Andrade has won the gold.
On the June 14 episode of WWE Speed, Andrade defeated Ricochet to win the WWE Speed Championship. In doing so, he became the second-ever champion. Ricochet previously won the tournament to crown the inaugural champion by defeating Johnny Gargano on the May 3 episode of WWE Speed.
Andrade earned his title shot by defeating Tommaso Ciampa in the finals of a #1 Contender’s Tournament.
WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H then commented on the news and congratulated the new champion.
Andrade returned to WWE at WWE Royal Rumble 2024. He is a former NXT Champion and WWE United States Champion.
WWE recently announced that Ricochet would be out of action indefinitely after Bron Breakker attacked him on the June 10 episode of WWE RAW.
