Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana has arrived at AFCON ahead of Cameroon’s opening match against Guinea later today.
Onana, who played in United’s 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, had been stranded in Abidjan in the Ivory Coast, approximately 150 miles away from Yamoussoukro, where the match kicks off at 5pm.
The flight taking Onana to Yamoussoukro was cancelled due to bad weather, so the keeper had to travel to the game by car in order to make it on time.
But it appears he has now arrived at his destination and is set to take part in the game.

United has not enjoyed the strongest of debut campaigns for United and the jury is still very much out on the Cameroonian.
Perhaps a good AFCON will set him in good stead for the remainder of the season.
