Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana has been dropped by for Cameroon's crucial Africa Cup of Nations clash against Gambia.

Cameroon must win to stand any chance of qualifying to the knockout stage of AFCON and also need Senegal beating Guinea.

But Cameroon manager Rigobert Song has decided to drop Onana from the starting line-up with Fabrice Ondoa, who is the United player's cousin, being named in goal instead.

It comes after a disappointing performance for Cameroon in their 3-1 defeat to Senegal.

The AFCON champions had three shots on target, all of which were let in by Onana, including a weak attempt to save Sadio Mane's late effort.
