Andy Cohen filmed the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 reunion over the weekend and spilled tea on what went down.
The television host went on his SiriusXM show and said he “really enjoyed” the reunion this year, noting that filming went until late at night.
“There are two kinds of reunions in my experience. The kinds of reunions that when I leave the taping, I either want to engage the producers more about it and I, on the way wherever I’m going, I immediately am on the phone with producers, and occasionally, I’m texting cast members,” Cohen said on Andy Cohen Live. “Maybe the next morning, I check in on some people, see how they’re doing or what they thought, or the total converse where I just want to go home, have a tequila, listen to music, and forget about the entire affair.”
He continued, “This was one that I was wanting to engage in. Talked to Alex Baskin on the way home. Talked to Lisa Vanderpump, was really kind of doing rounds a little bit because there was so much to talk about and it was, yeah. It was compelling.”
Cohen noted that the reunion this year was a completely different vibe as “nothing could be as heated as lat year.”
“A lot of the topics were incredibly intense and electric,” he added. “They were all calmly discussed, which I really appreciated it. Of course, there were flare-ups and screaming, but it was not, especially given last year sitting in that space.”
The Watch What Happens Live host also teased that the remaining episodes of Season 11 are “really good” and he enjoyed watching it.
Over the weekend, Bravo released the seating chart for the reunion and it was similar to the one from last year. Cohen and Vanderpump sat in the middle, with Ariana Madix, Katie Maloney, Lala Kent, and James Kennedy on Cohen’s side and Tom Sandoval, Tom Schwartz, Scheana Shay, and Brock Davis on the opposite side. Ally Lewber and Jo Wenberg also make an appearance at the reunion.
