Angela Okorie dragged over her outfit to late Mr Ibu’s funeral

Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has come under heavy criticism  over her outfit to late Nollywood actor, Mr Ibu’s funeral.

TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that the veteran actor was laid to rest amidst tears on Friday, June 28th.

Mr. Ibu died on March 2, 2024, after a prolonged illness. In October 2023, he publicly revealed his struggle with diabetes, and in November, his leg was amputated following seven surgeries.

The final funeral rites kicked off on Friday morning in the deceased’s hometown of Amuri, Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State.

The event drew a significant crowd, causing heavy traffic.

Also present was Angela Okorie, actor Charles Inojie and Mr Ibu’s adopted daughter Jasmine.

In a video she posted online, the actress cum musician was captured walking in to the burial ceremony with two body guards as she went to greet the late actor’s widow.

Sharin photos from the ceremony,  Angela made it known that there will never be another Mr Ibu.

However, her outfit to the ceremony stirred controversy as many noted how she was over dressed.

Others, pointed out the hypocrisy at how she condemned Zubby Michael for his outfit to Junior Pope’s burial, yet did the same.
