Paul Feig is once again defending Blake Lively. After it was announced that their upcoming movie Another Simple Favor will have its world premiere at the 2025 SXSW Film Festival in Austin, Texas on March 7, users took to the comment section on the director’s Instagram to throw some shade at Blake amid her It Ends With Us legal battle. Keep reading to find out more…“Is it Paul Feig’s cut or Blake’s cut?” the user wrote, referring how Blake allegedly made her own cut of It Ends With Us different from director Justin Baldoni. Another user commented, “I hope no one ends up in the basement,” a dig at how Justin and his family had to watch his movie from the basement at the premiere. Paul responded by sticking up for Blake yet again. “It’s my cut. There is no other cut,” Paul wrote. “Blake has been nothing but supporting and a dream to work with. She is the best and an amazing collaborator and I’m her biggest fan. Just wanted to clear that up.” Paul previously shared a message defending Blake after she first filed her complaint against Justin. Should Blake attend the premiere of Another Simple Favor, this could be her first major public appearance amid the It Ends with Us lawsuit.
