Anthony Bowens speaks on the recent issues between himself and Max Caster.
All Elite Wrestling‘s Anthony Bowens was a recent guest on ROAR Around The Ring. When asked about the recent dissension with Max Caster and if we could potentially see a breakup of The Acclaimed, Bowens said he believes he and Caster have a lot more to accomplish as a team.
“The Acclaimed are the best tag team in the history of AEW,” Anthony Bowens said. “Max and I, we have a lot more stuff that we need to accomplish. I’m not particularly worried about anything that’s been happening. MVP can drop as many cards as he likes, and Max is entitled to think about it. Just like I’m entitled to think about it as well. So I am a lot more focused on making sure we get a W this Saturday at Full Gear, and I’m sure he is too.”
A singles run for Anthony Bowens…?
When asked if he has any interest in a solo run in the future, Bowens admitted both of them have singles aspirations down the road but now isn’t the time for that.
“Like I said, right now, The Acclaimed we’re trying to make sure that we become two-time Tag Team Champions,” Anthony Bowens said. “I mean, I don’t think it’s been any secret that Max and I both have singles aspirations down the road, but now isn’t the time for that. We have so many more things that we need to accomplish before we even think about anything else like that.”
