Established with Roma after three matches without coming into play, Houssem Aouar scored his third goal of the season with a header on Sunday in a clash against Fiorentina (2-2).

We found Houssem Aouar this Sunday evening in Serie A. Ahead of Leandro Paredes, Bryan Cristante and Lorenzo Pellegrini in the AS Roma midfield, the player trained at OL had not come into play in the last three matches of his team, but was revived in the eleven by Daniele De Rossi for the shock on the field of Fiorentina, on behalf of the 28th day.

After the Viola opened the scoring by Luca Ranieri (18th), the Giallorossi equalized through Aouar, with a header from a deflected cross from Angelino (58th). The Algerian international thus scores his third goal with the club from the Italian capital. A meager consolation prize for the 25-year-old player, who will regain his replacement status during the next rounds.

The equalizer at the end of the suspense!

The rest of the second half was pretty crazy. The Florentine team of Maxime Lopez and Jonathan Ikoné regained the advantage thanks to Rolando Mandragora (69th) and even had the penalty for 3-1! Unfortunately for him, Cristiano Biraghi did not convert the sentence, the young Serbian goalkeeper Mile Svilar making a good save (80th)… And on the visitors’ last cross, defender Diego Llorente equalized with a magnificent recovery (95th) !

Roma is doing well, they are 5th, three points behind 4th, Bologna. Fiorentina, 8th, has not said its last word in the race for Europe, with five points less than its opponent of the day.
