A new Wicked movie featurette was released by Universal Pictures today, and it has new footage from the movie, plus, the emotional moments that Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo found out they’d be portraying Glinda and Elphaba, respectively. Both received video calls from director Jon M. Chu letting them know they’d won the roles. From the footage, they both appear to become very emotional at the news. Head inside to watch… Ariana said, “Thank you, I love her so much! I’m going to take such good care of her, thank you so much!” Part One is set to be released in theaters on November 27, 2024 and Part Two will follow on November 26, 2025. There is supposedly going to be a new trailer released this week as well. Take a look at the first trailer that was released months ago.
