WWE Hall of Famer Arn Anderson looks forward to seeing Cody Rhodes face Gunther at WWE Crown Jewel.
Speaking on his ARN podcast (via The Four Horsemen Network), Arn Anderson commented on the upcoming match. He also recalled meeting Gunther at WWE Bad Blood.
“You think it could get any bigger or better than that? They got a lot of young studs that work for that company,” Anderson said. “He just caught my eye in particular. He just will stand in there and just bang it out with you. Everything he does is solid and has malice. He’s just a really solid guy.
“Believe it or not, it was late in the afternoon, I had never had a chance to introduce myself to him or meet him personally. Our paths never crossed. He was sitting in catering late in the afternoon, so I just went over and introduced myself. I just said, ‘Hey, I like your stuff. You are a cement mixer,’ and he seemed to get a kick out of that.”

Anderson also previewed the upcoming match between Cody Rhodes and Gunther.
“Cody needs challengers, he needs tests,” he said. “He needs to be able to go beyond what he even believes he’s able to, and I know he’s bet on himself and he’s confident in his abilities. But when you have a guy like that, that’s gonna be a different kind of match. It’s not gonna be pretty. Gonna have to stand in there and bang on that, so look forward to it.”
