This is becoming clearer for Arne Slot on the Liverpool side. After discussing a possible departure with his players, the coach of Feyenoord in the Eredivisie gave an interview to ESPN this Thursday evening. The Dutch coach was very explicit in his statements, confirming his desire to join the Reds at the end of the season. He even says he is very confident.

“I believe Feyenoord will let me join Liverpool because it would be a big step for me. There are ongoing negotiations between the clubs, I’m waiting here… I’m happy at Feyenoord but Liverpool would be a fantastic opportunity for me. The clubs have to do their job, and I’m waiting. This will be much clearer in the coming days” he declared on the microphone ofESPN. Currently under contract until 2026 with the Dutch club, Liverpool will, according to the same media, have to meet Feyenoord’s transfer requirements, which would be greater than 10 million euros.
