Arsenal are definitely not spared from injuries at the start of the season. After Mikel Merino, Riccardo Calafiori, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Martin Odegaard, it is Bukayo Saka’s turn to fill the Gunners’ infirmary benches. The English winger limped off in the 86th minute of the match against Tottenham, won by his team (1-0) thanks to a goal from Gabriel Magalhāes (64th). No information regarding the Englishman’s injury has been revealed for the moment.

“Saka was not fit to continue today. I don’t know exactly what he has, but he couldn’t continue”said Mikel Arteta after the match. The Spanish coach must be disappointed to see his squad eaten away by injuries in this way, on the eve of the first day of the Champions League. The Gunners will also begin their campaign this Thursday against Atalanta in Bergamo at 9 p.m.
