Arsenal are reportedly very interested in the profile of a former Manchester City player.

With one year left on his contract with Bayern Munich, Leroy Sané remains in demand in England. Indeed, this Tuesday, Sky Germany reports Arsenal’s interest in the German striker.

Despite a disappointing 2023-24 season with the Rotten and a mixed European campaign with Germany, the London club’s management is closely monitoring Sané’s situation.

Arteta, the bridgehead of the seduction operation

It should be noted that the Gunners also have an asset to convince the 28-year-old right winger: Mikel Arteta. The Spanish technician, who was Pep Guardiola’s assistant at Manchester City between 2016 and 2019, has already worked with Sané, who played for the Skyblues between 2016 and 2020.

It remains to be seen whether the Ruhr native, valued at 70 million euros on the transfer market according to Transfermarktwould be open to a return to the Premier League.
