For the 29th round of the Premier League, Arsenal struck a major blow this Tuesday evening by crushing their neighbor Chelsea (5-0).

Arsenal proved their fierce desire to win the title by crushing Chelsea 5-0 at the Emirates Stadium to move three points clear at the top of the Premier League.

Kai Havertz and Ben White scored twice each in a lively second half for Mikel Arteta’s side, after Leandro Trossard opened the scoring early on.

Arsenal puts pressure on their competitors

Three days after recovering from their defeats against Aston Villa and Bayern Munich by winning 2-0 at Wolves, Arsenal therefore strolled and regained their three points lead over Liverpool, second, and four over third-placed Manchester City, the defending champions.

As for Chelsea, this crushing defeat, which follows a defeat in the FA Cup semi-final against City on Sunday, dashed their hopes of qualifying for Europe at the end of a greatly disappointing season.
