Erling Haaland has not made many friends in North London. At the end of an ultra-tight encounter between Manchester City and the Gunners, the Citizens managed to equalize at the end of added time through John Stones (90 + 8th, 2-2). After the Englishman’s goal, Haaland took the ball and threw it at Gabriel, the Arsenal defender, a gesture that infuriated Ian Wright, a legend of the London club.

In a video posted on his Instagram account, the Englishman said:“Throwing the ball at Gabi’s head when his back is turned. That’s a real cowardly move. That’s what bothered me more than anything else. I thought you (Haaland) were bigger than that.”he said of the Norwegian. Author of 156 goals in 264 matches in the Gunners jersey, Wright still carries the London club in his heart today and assiduously follows what is happening at Arsenal. For him, Erling Haaland’s slip-up was one too many.
