Arsenal could be interested in signing former Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson in the January transfer window, according to SportsLens. The report has claimed that Henderson wants to leave Saudi Arabian club Al-Ettifaq in the middle of the season, and that “There are some whispers” that Arsenal might show interest in him.
Henderson joined Saudi Pro League club Al-Ettifaq in the summer of 2023 from Liverpool. Anfield legend and his former Reds teammate Steven Gerrard is now in charge of Al-Ettifaq. The England international midfielder won the Premier League, the FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League with Liverpool.
Arsenal are fourth in the Premier League table at the moment with 40 points from 20 matches, five points behind leaders Liverpool. Henderson has made 431 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. He has scored 33 goals and given 54 assists in those games.
