Arsenal are looking to sign a new goalkeeper to replace Aaron Ramsdale. The Gunners are reportedly looking to sign Joan Garcia (23), the keeper for Espanyol in Barcelona. According to The Athleticthe Iberian bulwark could come to numerically replace Aaron Ramsdale, followed very closely by Ajax Amsterdam. The Dutch club would have even made a loan proposal to the London club for the 26-year-old Englishman.

An offer refused by Arsenal’s directors, who want a direct transfer of the goalkeeper this summer. However, Ajax is not giving up on this matter, which is not completely closed according to the club and intends to come back with a new proposal. For his part, David Raya has rather given satisfaction and should remain in the Arsenal goal but could see, in the person of Joan Garcia, one of his compatriots become his understudy at the Gunners.
