Arsenal youngster Kido Taylor-Hart has announced that he will leave the club this summer, bringing to an end a 13 year stay with the Gunners.

The 21-year-old winger has come through the youth ranks at Arsenal, but has not progressed to the first team and will leave without making a senior appearance.

He spent time on loan with Derby County’s under-21 side last season and has been on loan at Bromley in the National League this season.

Bromley won promotion to the Football League for the first time in their history this season, but Taylor-Hart made just nine league appearances during his loan stint, scoring one goal.

The winger is now moving on and will be looking for a new club on a permanent basis for the first time in his young career.

‘First I’d like to thank all the staff, coaches, fans and players at Arsenal that have shown me love and helped me in my 13 years at this amazing club. I appreciate it more than I can explain,’ Taylor-Hart wrote on Instagram.

‘The club has quite literally seen me grow up and go from a boy to a man❤️saying that it’s time to move on and I’m exited for what the future of my career holds.’

There are set to be some first team departures this summer as well, with Cedric Soares and Mohamed Elneny both expected to leave as their contracts expire at the end of the season.

Elneny is Arsenal’s longest-serving first team player, having joined from Basel in January 2016, but he has made just three substitute appearances in the Premier League this season and managed just one league start over the previous campaign.

Cedric initially joined on loan from Southampton in January 2020 but has also been almost completely out of contention of late, also making just three substitute appearances in the top flight this season.
