Arsenal’s £55m star forward Gabriel Jesus and Tottenham’s Richarlison have reportedly become top targets for Al-Ahli in the summer transfer window.

Jesus currently has a market value of €65m (£55m) according to Transfermarkt, and it was reported back in May that Arsenal were very much open to offers.

The Gunners splashed out £45m to sign Jesus from Manchester City in the summer of 2022 and the player has struggled with injury problems on and off.

Brazil international Jesus has played 69 matches for the north Londoners to date, producing 19 goals and 15 assists during his two-year spell at the Emirates.

He could now be on the move with Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli making Jesus, as well as fellow Brazilian Richarlison, two of their top targets for this summer.

That’s according to reports in Saudi Arabia, where the nation’s football clubs have been offering players massive wages in order to swap Europe for the Middle East.

Al-Ahli already have a number of superstars in the squad including former Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy and ex-Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino.

Former Manchester City and Leicester City superstar Riyad Mahrez is also playing for Al-Ahli as is Franck Kessie and ex-Newcastle United man Allan Saint-Maximin.

It remains to be seen what sort of price Arsenal would receive for their 27-year-old star Jesus, with fan channel AFTV posting a video about it a few weeks ago.

The clip sees supporters debating how much Jesus would be worth – and the majority of comments suggested that his price should be around £40m-£60m.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was forced to strongly refute claims that Arsenal were open to offers for Jesus back in May.

‘I don’t know where this is coming from,’ the Spaniard said. ‘No. no.’

Jesus lost his place at the head of Arsenal’s attack to Kai Havertz last season, while the Gunners are well known to be in the market for a new striker.
