Arsenal are reportedly interested in the signing of Real Madrid midfielder Brahim Diaz in the upcoming summer transfer window.
After a gruelling two-leg marathon against Porto in the Champions League round of 16, Arsenal secured passage to the quarter-finals for the first time in just over 14 years.
But it won’t get any easier going forward, as Friday’s draw revealed that they will have to face Bayern Munich with the winner then playing either Manchester City or Real Madrid in the semi-finals.
All though there were doubts surrounding some of Mikel Arteta’s summer signings, they have dissipated after big performances in the biggest of games from Kai Havertz, Declan Rice and David Raya.
The Spanish manager may look to bring in another top player in the summer with reports from Spanish outlet Nacional via Football 365 claiming that the Gunners are interested in Real Madrid star, Diaz.

The 24-year-old has started 11 La Liga games for Carlo Ancelotti’s side this campaign as he is beginning to find his feet in Madrid after his three-season loan spell in Milan.
The report claims that Arsenal have offered £60 million for the midfielder ahead of the summer transfer window.
The expected arrival of Kylian Mbappe in the summer could lead to some stars being pushed out of the squad, making Diaz more attainable for the Gunners.
Arsenal now have a two-week rest before their penultimate showdown with Manchester City at the Etihad at the end of the month.
