In an official press release, the Gunners confirmed the absence of Kai Havertz until the end of the season. The German striker was the victim of a hamstring injury during training in Dubai.
Arteta in need of solutions
“Subsequent evaluations and specialist exams have confirmed that the injury will require surgery, which will take place in the coming days. The Basque technician can currently only count on Raheem Sterling and Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli being also unavailable, just like Bukayo Saka, whose return is hoped for early March.
