According to Brandthe two clubs are said to be close to finding common ground for the 27-year-old striker. The player, for his part, is clear, he wants to play under Diego Simeone next season.

The Ukrainian, who scored 24 goals and provided 8 assists, was one of the key players in the surprise season of Girona. Despite a release clause estimated at 40 million euros, the Colchoneros are currently negotiating a slightly lower price with Girona, who are not totally closed to the idea.
