A budding singer, Tosin Jeremiah, aka Inphinix, has said that he is using his latest single, ‘Procold’, on which he features Chuddy K, to connect with fans and celebrate the universal joy of dance.

In an interview with Saturday Beats, he revealed that through the #ProcoldDanceChallenge, he hopes to bring together dancers and creators, showcasing their talents while fostering a sense of community.

He said, “The dance challenge is about connecting with my audience and celebrating creativity and self-expression. I aim to make the song resonate with people through the universal language of dance, while also providing an opportunity for dancers and creators to showcase their talents. I also hope to create a movement that highlights the joy music and dance bring, fostering a sense of community and fun.”

Inspired by legends such as Fela Kuti and Kendrick Lamar, the artist, whose career began in theatre before transitioning to music in 2005, also advocated for greater recognition of dancers within the industry. He said, “The challenge is a step in the right direction, as it provides a platform for dancers to shine, gain exposure and connect with fans and brands. Dancers are vital to the entertainment industry, and it’s time they get the recognition they truly deserve.”

He also noted that participants will win cash prizes, with $200 split between the top three entries.
