As In Argh: Michael Cole Reveals Pirates Interfered With Elimination Chamber Coming To Australia

Yes pirates. WWE is attempting to expand its international exposure by hosting major events outside of the United States. That is the case this year as there are already four such events planned over the next several months. One such event is taking place this weekend with a pair of major special matches. It turns out that there was quite the ordeal getting them set up.

This weekend, WWE will present Elimination Chamber from Perth, Australia. The company held a media event this week to promote the show, which included comments from Michael Cole. During the event, Cole that the Chamber itself took over a month to get to Australia. The structure was supposd to come through the Suez Canal but was cut off by pirates. As a result, it was sent back to America, shipped across the country, and then put on a boat from Los Angeles to Australia. The event is scheduled to take place Saturday mornong, February 24.
