AS Monaco – PSG: probable line-ups

The 24th day of Ligue 1 opens with a shock always eagerly awaited for fans of our championship. The confrontations between Monaco and PSG often have nice surprises in store for us and sometimes turning points that could decide the end of the season. If for the capital club, a large leader with 11 points ahead of its runner-up from Brest, the road to a new coronation of champion of France promises to be smooth, the fate reserved for ASM, 3rd and two points behind SB29, could be radically different depending on the result this evening at Louis II (kick-off 9 p.m.).

Faced with the poor form displayed since the start of the season by Köhn, Adi Hütter had to resolve to change goalkeeper. As in Lens last weekend, it is the Pole Majecki who will keep the cage, protected by a 3-4-3 system. Kehrer will reunite with his old team. The German should start in defense alongside Maripan and Salisu. A notch above in the roles of pistons, Singo and Ouattara are well on their way to starting. They would be surrounded by a duo composed of Golovin, sent a notch lower, and Fofana, Zakaria and Camara being absent.

Missing in defense and Mbappé starting?

Up front, Balogun will have the opportunity to confirm his goal in Lens, even if he is no longer the designated penalty taker. Alongside Ben Yedder, the American should be supported by Minamino, the Japanese hoping to build on his current excellent level. In the opposing camp, all eyes will once again be attracted by Kylian Mbappé. The latter is about to set foot on the pitch of his training club for the last time for a while (who knows?). Substitute for Nantes, replaced against Rennes, the striker is expected to start. He will be associated with Lee and Barcola, leaving Dembélé on the bench.

Before the offensive curtain, there is a whole team. Unsurprisingly, Luis Enrique will line up Donnarumma in goal. In great form for several weeks, the Italian will lead a fairly unique defense. The return of Hakimi is good even if Soler may have a card to play to enter the eleven. With the numerous absences in central defense (Marquinhos, Skriniar, Kimpembe and now Danilo), Beraldo and Hernandez should be aligned, leaving room on the left flank for Mukiele in order to promise Nuno Mendes a smooth return. In the midfield, Zaire-Emery, Ruiz and Ugarte would start this final rehearsal before the round of 16 second leg against Real Sociedad.
