Arriving during the season, Daniele De Rossi straightened out his favorite team, AS Roma. The former midfielder did not disappoint, quite the contrary, and the Roman club will play in Europe next season (it remains to be determined which competition). He therefore won the right to continue the adventure, since the American owner Friedkin decided to offer him a 3-year contract.

As explained by Corriere dello Sport, this decision was taken before the arrival of Florent Ghisolfi, officially inducted yesterday as sporting director of the Louve club. But the French leader agrees with this choice, and has already been able to speak with De Rossi by telephone. He is expected at Empoli, where Roma will play, on Sunday for the last day of Serie A.
