Appointed at the head of AS Roma on September 18 to replace Daniele De Rossi, the Croatian coach, Ivan Juric, would already be in the hot seat, even though he remains undefeated in Serie A with two victories and a draw . The defeat against Swedish club Elfsborg reignited protests from Roma fans, already angry after De Rossi’s dismissal. According to the Corriere dello Sportthe Friedkins, owners of the club, are waiting for a reaction from Juric and a change of pace from the team and thus demand a victory against Monza this weekend.

Ivan Juric signed a contract until June 30, 2025 and earns 2 million per season. Daniele De Rossi had reached an agreement for a three-year contract at 3.3 million per season. Calling on a third coach would be madness for a club which must pay attention to costs. Thus, in the event of the dismissal of the former Torino coach, the most plausible choice would be to recall Daniele De Rossi according to the Italian press. The Friedkins pay two coaches and will continue to pay them in the event of the dismissal of Juric who has no intention of resigning.
