Afrobeat star, Ahmed Ololade professional known as Asake has come under heavy criticism after smashing a fan’s iPhone 16 Pro Max in Paris.
In the viral video that surfaced on social media captured the moment the fan approached the musician for a photo, but the Afrobeats star got agitated and suddenly grabbed and smashed the phone on the ground.
The fan via TikTok page expressed his feelings, but showed remarkable loyalty to Asake despite the significant damage to his phone.
“@asakemusic You broke my iPhone 16 pro Max. It’s not because they pissed off inside the nightclub that you are going to react like that towards a fan. Anyway, I still love you,” he wrote.
Reacting, several social media users dragged the singer’s behavior, questioning his treatment of fans. Others also demanded that he should pay for the phone repair.

Another user, RemaRaver1 wrote: “Asake is an Arrogant cvnt. He had no right smashing that guys phone. He could have asked him not to take pictures or Record him.”
