For months, the disturbing allegations against Vince McMahon and WWE have left the world talking. This led to McMahon resigning from the company and signing off from his duties on the TKO Board. Along with McMahon, numerous names like John Laurinaitus have also been linked.

Ashley Massaro, a former WWE superstar, revealed back in 2016 that she was sexually assaulted by a doctor during the WWE Tour in Kuwait. She revealed that she had already informed the company about it but no action was taken. Rather, WWE asked Massaro to stand back from reporting to the authorities, as it would affect WWE’s relations with the military.

While the lawsuit was dismissed in 2018, an attorney of John Laurinaitus, in February 2024, stated that the company might know things and handle it as per their protocols. However, WWE has always denied having any information about it

BJ Lethal, formerly from FOX19 WXIX in Cincinnati and current member of the SEScoops writing team released a document stating that the late star was treated at Camp LSA in 2006, around the timeWWE toured in Kuwait. The following was stated to close the case:

“To date, no subject, scene, or witnesses have been identified. The reported victim is deceased, and no prosecutorial venue exists within the NCISRU Corpus Christi, TX area of responsibly.”

In the wake of these troubling allegations and the subsequent resignation of Vince McMahon from his position at WWE, the echoes of Ashley Massaro’s revelation continue to resonate. Despite legal dismissals and conflicting statements, the specter of misconduct hovers over the company.
