Ashley Park Shares Health Update After Hospitalization As She Reunites With ‘Emily In Paris’ Star While Recuperating

Emily In Paris star Ashley Park is getting better and getting closer to returning to work. The actor took to Instagram Sunday to update fans on her recovery weeks after suffering a critical septic shock and to thank them for their well wishes.

“I was medically cleared to fly after responding to treatments, and am now recovering and resting in Paris where I was greeted with this incredible warm welcome from loved ones and my Emily In Paris fam,” she wrote next to photos that included her undergoing acupuncture treatment and getting a visit in her apartment by Emily In Paris star Lily Collins.

Park thanked Netflix and the Emily In Paris team “for their genuine kindness and gracious patience as I wait to be medically cleared to work,” adding, “I couldn’t be more excited to join then all on set for Season 4.”

The rest of Emily In Paris cast convened in Paris about 10 days ago to start production on Season 4. At the time, there was expectation that Park would rejoin her co-stars. That time is getting closer now as Park vows that she is “taking as much care of myself as I can to get back into fighting shape.”
