A few hours after the loan of Marcus Rashford from Manchester United, Aston Villa is still in business on the transfer window. This Monday morning, the club recalled the young Englishman Samuel Iling Junior, who has been playing in Bologna since the start of the season. The young striker had played fifteen games in the blue and red jersey for all competitions, but only four in the shoes of an incumbent.

Trained at Juventus and bought at gold prices at the summer transfer window 2024, Samuel Iling Junior will not have time to reset to Aston Villa, since the club immediately lent him on the side of Middlesbrough, in the second division English. He arrives to help the seventh of Championship to find a place among the barragists and try to find the Premier League for the first time since 2017.
