Injured last February against Manchester United, Boubacar Kamara (24 years old) learned a few hours later that he suffered a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. A terrible blow for the versatile midfielder who had a good chance of participating in Euro 2024 with the Blues. Since then, the former OM player has been in rehabilitation.

But yesterday, he took a new step. Indeed, Aston Villa explained that the Frenchman joined the team to participate in the start of training. Which was a first this season. Enough to put a smile on the faces of Kamara, Unai Emery and the Villans fans, who will be counting on him once he is back on his feet. A player who nevertheless still has a little work to do before making his big comeback.
