Philippe Coutinho is heading to an exit from Aston Villa soon.
The player joined the Premier League club from Barcelona but he has not been able to make an impact since his move.
Furthermore, following “advanced talks,” Fabrizio Romano claims that his former club Vasco da Gama are confident in bringing him home.

Journalist Dan Bardell thinks it will be useful for both sides this summer if Coutinho leaves Aston Villa by terminating his contract.
The Sky Sports and talkSPORT journalist feels his spell at Villa has been a waste of time and that severing all connections ahead of the summer transfer window makes sense.
In an exclusive interview with Villa News, Bardell stated:
“If he wasn’t going to make it at Villa for a Conference League campaign, with Villa’s ambitions next season he’s not going to fit in with what Emery wants to achieve.
Coutinho’s time at Aston Villa is coming to an end.
“He’s proved to be a very expensive mistake. He gave us some fun moments but overall it’s not worked out and Villa can’t afford to carry that sort of wage.
“If they can terminate his contract early and get those wages off the books, that will really help with PSR. I think if they can get him gone I think it would be a good thing and something I hope gets done early so everyone knows where they stand.“
The Brazilian joined the Midlands club with huge expectation following his move from Barcelona.
Coutinho has failed to impress at Aston Villa
But his time at Villa Park has been a huge disappointment and his career in the Premier League is over now.
During his successful spell at Liverpool, Coutinho was one of the best players in the league.
However, his decline has been a massive surprise and his career has gone downhill since leaving the Merseyside club.
