Athena has retained the ROH Women’s World Title once again, this time at the Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling Forged In Excellence’s second night against Gisele Shaw. The match went near 24 minutes in the co-main event.

As Shaw attempted numerous falls at the end of the match, Athena fought out every time. The final moments of the match led to an O-Face on Shaw for Athena to retain the championship yet again.
Athena is quickly approaching 700 days as champion and she will have a championship celebration this week on ROH TV.
