The ROH Women’s World Championship will be defended on the Jan. 13 STARDOM show.
After teaming with each other over the weekend and coming out victorious against Tay Melo and Mina Shitrakawa, Thekla challenged Athena for the championship. Athena declined, but Thekla wasn’t taking no for an answer.
On Sunday, Thekla cost Athena the International Women’s Cup at Wrestle Dynasty. This kept the attention of Athena who agreed to the match.
