The bombshell dropped last week. Radio Marca thus revealed that we were probably facing Antoine Griezmann’s last season under the colors of Atlético de Madrid. Still indisputable at the age of 33, Grizi thus lives his last dance in Europe, since he should continue his career across the Atlantic, in Major League Soccer.

There was even talk of a possible departure in January, so that he could start the 2025 MLS season with his future franchise, whose identity is not yet known. But the trend remains towards a departure at the end of the European season. This Sunday, Relevo indicates that the Colchoneros star does indeed have a good chance of leaving.

A nice challenge

Better, we learn that Antoine Griezmann’s future club could be Los Angeles FC, club of Olivier Giroud, Denis Bouanga and Hugo Lloris, but also of Carlos Vela, his sidekick at Real Sociedad and very close friend. The Californian franchise, qualified for the quarter-finals of the Major League Soccer playoffs, wishes to attract the 2018 world champion into its ranks.

Author of 4 goals and 6 assists in 17 meetings with the Colchoneros this season, the Frenchman is under contract until 2026.
