To replace Alvaro Morata who left for AC Milan, Atlético de Madrid has chosen Norwegian international Alexander Sorloth.

Atlético de Madrid are banking on Alexander Sorloth to terrorize opposing defenses in La Liga. On Saturday, the Spanish club made official the transfer of the Norwegian striker from Villarreal. The 28-year-old international has signed a four-year contract, until June 30, 2028. The amount of the move is estimated at just over 32 million euros.

Once tracked by OM, when the Marseille club was looking for its “great striker” with little financial means, the imposing Alexander Sorloth (1.95m) will discover a third club in the Spanish Championship after Real Sociedad and Villarreal.

The Colchoneros’ directors hope that the Norwegian will succeed Alvaro Morata. The Spanish striker, European champion with La Roja last month, left for AC Milan (Serie A).
