It was one of the major movements of this fairly calm winter window in foreign championships: Moise Kean was expected on the side of Atlético de Madrid, willing to pay a loan to add an additional athletic dimension to his attack. The 23-year-old striker was expected today to undergo his medical examination with the Colchoneros, coming from Turin.

And there, woes. The medical examination was deemed inconclusive by the Madrid medical staff. The player is considered still far from the field, following an injury which has already prevented him from playing since the beginning of December. Atlético believed Kean was close to a return. As a result, he finally said no to the loan, and Kean will make the return trip to Juventus.
