Avatar: The Last Airbender was the star of the show on Netflix last week.
The streamer’s latest live action adaptation amassed 21.2M views in its opening weekend, making it in the Top 10 in 92 countries. Read more about Avatar‘s premiere ratings here.
While Avatar came in No. 1 among TV, it was beaten out for most-watched title of the week by the Swedish natural disaster thriller The Abyss, which drew 22.3M views and topped the non-English film list.
In second place among TV was One Day, which managed 7.5M views. Season 6 of the fan-favorite dating experiment Love is Blind followed at No. 3, also with 7.5M views.
Rounding out the top five were Can I Tell You A Secret? at No. 4 with 6.5M views and Griselda in fifth place with 3.1M views.
On the English films list, Tyler Perry’s Mea Culpa took the top spot with 16M views. The romantic comedy Players managed 7.4M views and grabbed the No. 2 spot.
Einstein and the Bomb, Despicable Me 3 and Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken finished out the top five.
