B.J. Novak is such a big fan of chain restaurants that he created his own brand Chain, which collaborates with your favorite chains to make elevated gourmet versions of their signature menu items. The former The Office actor and his business partner, Michelin-starred Chef Tim Hollingsworth, teamed up to bring ChainFEST to New York City for the first time on Saturday (September 21). Over 5,000 food lovers got the chance to try new creations from KFC, Cracker Barrel, Red Robin, Red Lobster, Panda Express, Chuck E. Cheese, Krispy Kreme, and more. KFC served its new original recipe tender before it debuts in restaurants in October, Krispy Kreme made a special pumpkin spice glazed original doughnut, and Cracker Barrel celebrated its 55th birthday with a Screwball Peanut Butter Sweet Tea Cocktail.
