Baby Reindeer star Jessica Gunning is publicly coming out for the first time in a big interview. Although the 38-year-old actress said in this new interview that she actually came out in late 2022, this is the first we’ve found that she’s spoken publicly about her sexuality. Jessica was thrust into the spotlight earlier this Spring with the release of Netflix’s Baby Reindeer, where she portrayed the role of Martha opposite Richard Gadd‘s Donny. Keep reading to find out more… On the “Reign with Josh Smith” podcast, Jessica shared, “I came out actually in November 2022 and that was a mega, mega thing for me. I’m surrounded by gays, all my friends are gay and so it wasn’t that I was repressing anything.” She continued, “It was just that I didn’t think I could be, and I still can’t articulate it in the best way. But yeah, I realized I was a big old gay, and I was like, ‘that’s what it’s been. That’s what it is.’” Meanwhile, the alleged “real” Martha from Baby Reindeer has spoken out about the series.
