From “Bachelor” to baby!
Nick Viall became a father on Feb. 2 after his fiancée, Natalie Joy, gave birth to their first child — a daughter they’ve named River Rose Viall.
The couple shared a joint Instagram post Monday, explaining that their bundle of joy was “named after Natalie’s great grandmother and niece.”
“…the best part of life starts now 🦢🕊️☁️💗,” the statement said in part.
Along with the announcement, the couple shared various photos of their daughter, including her sleeping in her crib, riding in a car seat and enjoying skin-to-skin contact with Dad.
In another sweet photo, River Rose clung to her parents’ fingers.
The couple revealed their pregnancy news in August, seven months after the Bachelor Nation member got down on one knee.
“our biggest dream came true,” the duo captioned Instagram photos debuting Joy’s baby bump, as well as an ultrasound shot.
Later that same month, the “Bachelorette” alum, 43, told “Viall Files” podcast listeners that he knew the little one’s sex and had lied to some friends about it.

“All of a sudden it gets around … like, ‘Oh, I heard you’re having a …’ and then you know who it came from,” he continued of his pals’ suspected “big mouths.”
Before Viall began his relationship with Joy, 25, in 2020, he was engaged to Vanessa Grimaldi.

However, the duo called it quits five months after the episode aired.

“He was like, ‘I want to see your ID,'” Joy recalled on “The Squeeze” in May, joking that she hung on to Viall despite his hesitations because she knew “he’d come around.”
