Back At It? Injured WWE Superstar Announced For First Match In Nine Months

Welcome back? There are all kinds of reasons for a wrestler to be kept out of the ring and some of them can be rather serious. One of the most common is an injury, which can leave a wrestler on the sidelines for a very long time. While it is terrible to see someone put on the shelf, it can be a big moment when they are able to get back in the ring. That appears to be the situation next week.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: New Role: Former WWE Superstar Summer Rae Lands New Boxing Role

This week on SmackDown, Dakota Kai was attacked and said that it was done by the Kabuki Warriors. Bayley checked on her backstage and said that the two would take care of them. Later in the night a match between Bayley/Kai and the Kabuki Warriors was announced for the following week. Should the match take place, it will be her first since May 2023 as she has been out of action with a knee injury.
