On occasion you will see someone leave the company for a bit, which occasionally has nothing to do with anything the company is doing. That is the case again, as a prominent AEW star is taking a break from the company for various reasons.

AEW star Saraya has announced that she is taking a break from AEW. Saraya appeared on the red carpet of the American Reality TV Awards where she spoke to The Buzz, saying that she was taking a break to do more non-wrestling things. This includes an upcoming appearance on Catfish, which Saraya says has already been filmed. Saraya has been away from AEW TV since last month and it is not clear when she will return.

Opinion: This isn’t a bit surprise as Saraya has been gone for a little bit with no on-screen explanation. If Saraya wants or needs to take a break to recharge a bit, it’s good that she is getting this kind of a chance. If nothing else, it means she could come back later on in a better spot, as she can have the chance to do something else after a rather needed break from everything else.
