Rodriguez previously revealed that she had been diagnosed with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, and she was last seen on the RAW after Elimination Chamber, after which she took an extended hiatus. She ended up making her return at Bad Blood this week, and now backstage details regarding her return have been revealed.

In the Women’s World Championship match at the Bad Blood Premium Live Event, Dominik Mysterio was locked in a shark cage by the ring while Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan battled. As the match neared its end, Dominik managed to unlock the cage, but his fear of heights stopped him from climbing down.

Ripley used this distraction to her advantage, dragging Morgan out of the ring and attacking her right in front of Dominik. Unable to watch any longer, Dominik tried to escape but forgot his leg was still chained to the cage, leaving him dangling in the air.

Seeing Dominik stuck, Rhea grabbed a kendo stick and was ready to punish him. Suddenly, Raquel Rodriguez made a surprise return, attacking Rhea Ripley from behind and throwing her back into the ring. In a confusing finish, the bell rang, and Raquel awkwardly placed Liv on top of Rhea for the pin but then pulled Liv off and that just ended up confusing fans in a big way.

According to a report by PWInsider, it was confirmed that Raquel Rodriguez is back as a full-time WWE Superstar, so fans can expect to see Rodriguez compete inside the squad circle again.

We have also reported that the initial plan for the match was for Liv Morgan to win with Raquel Rodriguez’s help, but the referee felt he had to call a disqualification after seeing what Rodriguez did. Regardless, it remains to be seen how Rodriguez will be booked in the coming weeks, as fans have high expectations for her.
