Last night’s segment between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns has received a lot of praise from the WWE Universe.

On the September 20 episode of WWE SmackDown, Roman Reigns met Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. The same venue where Reigns played college football for Georgia Tech.

The face-to-face was one of the most talked about moments coming out of SmackDown last night and we now have more information about who was behind putting that segment together.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE NXT’s Senior Director of Content and Development, Jeremy Borash was in charge of producing last night’s segment.

In addition to Borash, WWE’s Director of Character Development Rob Fee was also present for the segment. Johnson states that the two have been collaborating on projects and segments in WWE as of late.

Based on the reception of last night’s segment, we can’t rule out WWE continuing to do more things like this moving forward.
