It’s a new time. It was previously reported that WWE released several talents recently, including Xia Li, Xyon Quinn, Jinder Mahal, Veer, and Sanga. But how have these releases been handled under Triple H’s leadership?

According to a report from Wrestling News, the calls to the talent have been “less curt” and “more apologetic and respectful” when the news was delivered. This is a change from the Vince McMahon era, in which WWE talent releases were often handled in an abrupt and impersonal manner. Wrestlers would typically receive a brief phone call from an executive like John Laurinaitis or Mark Carrano, informing them that they were being released due to budget constraints. These conversations were concise and to the point, leaving little room for explanation or discussion.

Shortly after these calls, the news of the wrestler’s release would be swiftly posted on WWE’s website and social media channels, catching many off guard and leaving them feeling blindsided. This approach lacked empathy and sensitivity and contributed to the emotional toll experienced by wrestlers who were let go.

Editor’s Opinion:

This makes sense, as Triple H seems to be approaching the company from a more human perspective. He listens to the fans, as well as the talent, and runs things as more of a leader, as opposed to a boss. It’s probably the reason why morale is higher and business is booming more than it has in a long time.
