Anand Tiwari’s comedy Bad Newz – starring Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk in lead roles, was released in theatres yesterday and is being loved by many. The film – which revolves around d heteropaternal superfecundation, a reproductive process in which twin children are born to the same mother, but from different biological fathers, has managed to amass over Rs 8 crore on its opening day – making it the biggest opener for Vicky to date.

A while ago, Dharma Productions took their Instagram handle and revealed the opening day collection of the Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk starrer. Captioned, “Congra-kalesh-tions!” the Day 1 NBOC India collection of the Anand Tiwari stands at Rs 8.62 crore.
