Ballon d’Or 2024: Sergio Agüero congratulates Rodri and pays Real Madrid

This Monday, the 68th Ballon d’Or trophy was awarded to Rodri Hernandez, the Manchester City defensive midfielder. A choice which got people talking but which was judged to be the right one for Sergio Agüero. The former Manchester City striker welcomed this decision and wanted to support the man who was his teammate between 2019 and 2021.

On his stream, the former Argentinian striker also criticized the behavior of Real Madrid who shunned the ceremony: “It’s deserved. Rodri is the best player in the world. Football is for everyone, not just for Real Madrid, they think they can do anything…”
