Bandido confirms that he got banged up at ROH Final Battle.

The former ROH World Champion had been sidelined due to injury since June 2023, but he made his return at ROH Final Battle. He made the save when The Learning Tree attacked Matt Cardona.

On December 22, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline reported that Bandido suffered a concussion when he hit his head doing a missile dropkick.

In a post on Instagram, Bandido confirmed the news. (Translation via DeepL)

“What a weekend,” Bandido wrote. “I can only thank God for allowing me to wake up one more day after everything that happened! The blow was in a delicate area of my head, now I just have to hope that there is no brain inflammation. Thanks to all my people who have been sending me messages asking about my current condition! It has been hard to deal with myself these days, too much frustration invades my head.

“The hardest battle of my life is coming, with myself!!! The only thing I can tell you is that I will try to return a thousand and one times to the ring!!! whether I succeed at some point or I stay in the attempt …!! “Not you, not me, not anyone will hit as hard as life but it doesn’t matter how hard you do it! No matter how hard you hang in there and keep going, that’s how you win” ROCKY BALBOA”

As of this writing, there is no word on how long Bandido will be out of action. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
